Use Advion ant bait gel alongside Advance 375A ant granular bait to provide both sugar- and protein-based food for finicky ants.
Some ant insecticides are classified as pyrethroids; others are classified as neonicotinoids. Advion's Ant Gel Bait active ingredient is classified as an oxadiazine known as indoxacarb. It does what other insecticides fail to do: continue to remain active after the first dose. Indoxacarb disrupts the normal function of the ant's sodium channels, causing dehydration and eventual death. Once it ingests the bait, the ant goes back to the colony and transfers the poison to other members through contact. The process of passing the poison from one ant to another is called the transfer effect, providing complete elimination of the colony with a single dose.
Use Advion ant gel bait inside homes and businesses to target ant colonies that come in for food or shelter. Some ants form a line to a food source and return to their nest outdoors. However, others will come indoors and build nests behind baseboards and other places to escape from predators and inclement weather outside. Apply a drop of gel every few feet indoors where the ants travel, such as along baseboards, inside cabinets and beneath appliances.
Advion is also labeled for outdoor use and works well as a crack-and-crevice treatment. It's best to apply the gel near or around the nests or the places where they travel. It should not be applied directly on the trail or the nest as they may avoid the bait. For the best results, use bait plate stations with the gel to keep it fresh and to prevent tampering. The stations also have two rows for storing both gel and granular baits, giving ants two choices depending on their mood.
Some common application sites include:
Advion ant gel bait is made specifically to kill various ant species indoors and outdoors. The active ingredient kills other pest insects such as roaches, but the formula is designed for directly impacting ants and their colonies. Roaches may avoid Advion, so it's important to use a specific roach bait if an infestation occurs. Advion targets most every ant species, from carpenter ants to ghost ants. Other common species include:
Getting rid of ants is easy with Advion ant bait gel. It can be applied as-is from the tube or with a bait gun. It targets most every known ant species and eliminates the entire colony for complete ant control. Use Advion in homes and businesses both indoors and outdoors to stop ant infestations from getting worse. Whether it's fire ants on the lawn or little black ants in the kitchen, stop nuisance ant invasions with Advion ant bait gel.
