How Does Demon WP Insecticide Work?

Demon WP Insecticide label shows it has contains cypermethrin, a synthetic pyrethroid that mimics the properties in pyrethrum, which occurs naturally in chrysanthemum flowers. Cypermethrin starts to work on contact or when the insect ingests the ingredient. The poison then triggers a response in the insect's nerve cells, which results in paralysis and prevents feeding and grooming. The insect then dies because it can no longer feed or perform normal activities.

Cypermethrin has a low toxicity to humans and other mammals and is safe to use around pets when it's applied as directed. Because it is a synthetic pyrethroid, it lasts longer than naturally occurring pyrethrum and provides long-lasting control and prevention.

Where Should You Use Demon WP Insecticide ?

Use Demon WP Insecticide as a crack and crevice treatment or as a spot application for contact and residual control of indoor and outdoor pests. The WP in the name refers to water-soluble packets and wettable powder, both of which contain the same active ingredient and target pests on contact. Use Demon water-soluble packets with a compressed air sprayer for targeting pests indoors and out. Demon wettable powder works well for killing larger pests such as roaches, stink bugs and scorpions. Some target areas for use include:

You can also use Demon WP insecticide in outdoor areas such as parks, athletic fields and agricultural sites. Use it to fight pests in food granaries, greenhouses and pet kennels. Demon WP also kills existing pests and prevents further infestations on ornamental trees, lawns and shrubs.

What Pests Does Demon WP Insecticide Target?

Demon WP Insecticide targets numerous indoor and outdoor pests in a variety of settings. Whether it's ants in the kitchen or scorpions in the yard, it starts working on contact and provides residual control for up to 90 days. Some of the target pests include:

How Do You Apply Demon WP?

You should always wear rubber gloves and protective clothing when applying Demon WP insecticide. The water-soluble packets require dilution for application, so fill the applicator tank halfway with water. Add the desired packets to the water, and allow the insecticide to dissolve for one or two minutes. Stir or shake the tank, and then finish filling the tank with water and shaking it once again before use.

Apply Demon WP with a handheld sprayer or with power equipment on the target surfaces. Provide thorough coverage on the surface of buildings, porches, patios, lawns, window frames and other surfaces where pests are present. You can also apply Demon WP as a spot treatment to target ant mounds or use it in specific areas where pests aggregate.

Spray the mixture along the corners of the walls and along baseboards in areas where pests enter or travel. You should let the insecticide dry before allowing pets and children in the target areas. Do not use Demon WP as a space spray with misting systems, foggers or aerosol equipment to prevent clogging and damaging your tools.
