How QuickSilver Herbicide Works

QuickSilver Herbicide contains carfentrazone-ethyl, an effective ingredient that interrupts the weeds' chlorophyll synthesis. It disrupts weed cell membranes and completely eradicates the plants within 14 days after application. Susceptible weeds will start to show symptoms in 24 hours or less. QuickSilver Herbicide does not harm birds, earthworms or honeybees, making it an environmentally friendly method for eliminating weeds. Because QuickSilver Herbicide is a contact herbicide, it does not offer residual control. However, you can use it as a tank mix with a residual herbicide for long-term protection.

Where to Use QuickSilver Herbicide

Apply QuickSilver Herbicide in places where weeds threaten turfgrass and ornamental plants. Some target application areas include:
