How Mallet 75 WSP Insecticide Works

Mallet 75 WSP Insecticide active ingredient imidacloprid comes in water-soluble packets. Pest insects are no match for this formidable ingredient as it disrupts their stimuli transmitters within their nervous system. It blocks their neural pathways and causes paralysis before killing the insects. Imidacloprid targets a specific type of neural pathway that is more commonly found in insects. Therefore, it's less harmful on humans and pets especially when used as directed.

Where to Use Mallet 75 WSP Insecticide

Apply Mallet 75 WSP Insecticide to ground and ornamental plants, such as in residential and commercial landscaping. It also protects turfgrass from many different pests that attack the roots and the blades. Use Mallet to prevent infestations on flowers, ground covers and interior plantscapes, including rotational crops and woody perennials such as trees and vines. It works as an efficient ant management system to limit the amount of honeydew that is available as a food source when treating aphids and mealybugs.

Mallet 75 WSP Insecticide Target Pests

Although Mallet kills adult pests, it works very well on certain insect larvae. For the best results, use Mallet prior to egg hatching of these target pests to keep population numbers low and controllable: billbugs, European crane flies, Japanese beetles, chinch bugs and mole crickets.
