How Zenprox Xtend Insecticide Works

Zenprox xtend aerosol insecticide spray contains four ingredients to kill a variety of nuisance pests within minutes of an application:

• Pyrethrins
• Tetramethrin
• Etofenprox
• Piperonyl butoxide

Pyrethrins are naturally derived substances from chrysanthemum flowers. They target the nervous systems and cause the pests to become paralyzed after contact. The insects die within minutes or hours after contacting or ingesting this ingredient.

Tetramethrin is a synthetic pyrethroid that also affects the nervous system and renders the insects immobile. It works in combination with pyrethrins for maximum elimination of the target pests.

Etofenprox is the key ingredient in Zenprox and is the same active ingredient in Zenprox EC liquid insecticide. It's a synthetic pyrethroid but has a different chemical structure than tetramethrin.
