How Bifen IT Works

What exactly is bifenthrin? Bifen Insecticide, named after its main ingredient bifenthrin, works as a liquid concentrate and targets the nervous system of many insects. This attack on the nervous system causes an immediate weakened state and then death. Once it's sprayed, pests pick up the residual ingredient by contact, making it useful as a repellent insecticide for targeting social insects such as ants and termites and offering long term control.

Though Bifen doesn't provide an immediate knockdown, it prevents social insects from creating pheromone trails and works as a barrier against target pests. How to Use Bifen Insecticide

You can also spray it around plantscapes, along the perimeter of businesses and throughout recreational areas. Spray it along the walls in hotels and restaurants where roaches and other invasive insects travel, and lightly coat plants in greenhouses to prevent whitefly infestations. Do not apply Bifen to an area more than once per week as insects have shown an ability to adapt to its presence with repeated applications.
