Dylox 420 SL insecticide works effectively thanks to trichlorfon, a chemical ingredient that targets the nervous system of various soil insect pests. It works by contact and ingestion, controlling grub larvae and other labeled insects. In fact, it's the go-to product for eliminating third-instar grubs late in the season.

Where to Use Dylox 420 SL Insecticide

Use Dylox 420 SL insecticide anywhere grubs and other soil insects threaten flowers, shrubs and trees. It's labeled for use on residential lawns, commercial landscaping and recreational areas such as golf courses. Do not, however, apply Dylox 420 SL within 25 feet of rivers, lakes or any body of water as it negatively impacts fish.

Though Dylox 420 SL insecticide targets and controls grubs, it also works to kill various soil-dwelling pests such as armyworms.
