How Envoy Plus Herbicide Works

Envoy Plus herbicide contains clethodim, an active ingredient that targets postemergent grasses up to 24 inches in height. It disrupts the growth process in the grasses and causes necrosis in younger plant tissue until the remaining foliage collapses. It works best in moist conditions, especially after rainfall or irrigation. If it's applied in arid climates, it's important to irrigate immediately after application for the best results.

Where to Use Envoy Plus Herbicide

Apply Envoy Plus herbicide to kill grasses around conifer trees and nonbearing food crops. It treats grass weeds on noncrop and nonplanted areas and is useful for ground, air and spot treatments. Use it to stop grasses from competing with and taking over:

• Conifer trees
• Garden flowers
• Ground covers
• Ornamental plants and trees
• Shrubs

Target Weeds

Envoy Plus herbicide controls numerous grass species such as canarygrass and volunteer wheat. It also kills witchgrass and ryegrass up to 8 inches in height. After one application, Envoy Plus gets rid of:

• Crabgrass
• Itchgrass
• Ryegrass
• Seedling Johnsongrass
• Volunteer corn
• Wild oats
• Woolly cupgrass
