Merit 0.5 G insecticide contains imidacloprid in a granular form to target turfpests in residential, commercial and recreational areas. This active ingredient starts to work upon ingestion and prevents the insect from feeding, causing the pest to die. Because Merit contains more of the active ingredient than similar insecticides, it provides more effective results and lasts for up to six weeks. With the right conditions and application rates, it can control white grub larvae for nearly four months.
Apply Merit 0.5 G insecticide with a spreader over turf in commercial and residential settings. It works to keep June beetles off home lawns and grubs off golf courses. Use Merit 0.5 G on turfgrass in the following places and more:
Merit 0.5 G insecticide kills destructive insect pests such as white grub larvae and masked chafers. It's also useful at stopping Asiatic garden beetles from overtaking landscapes. Some of the most common pests include:
White grub larvae, chinch bugs and other pests cause damage to turfgrass on home lawns, commercial landscapes and athletic fields. With Merit 0.5 G insecticide, the insects stop feeding and die soon after digesting the powerful granules. It provides residual control after rainfall or irrigation and applies with a standard spreader.
