How Phantom Pressurized Insecticide Spray Works

Phantom Pressurized Insecticide aerosol contains an active ingredient known as chlorfenapyr, which causes cellular death in the target insects. It doesn't act on the insects in the way that pyrethroids do. A pyrethroid-based insecticide works on contact; Phantom II provides slower yet long-lasting residual control. Whereas a pyrethroid attacks the nerves and paralyzes the pests, chlorfenapyr disrupts the cellular process and prevents the cells from converting food into energy.

Chlorfenapyr has a slow mode of action, much slower than other residual substances.
