How PT Alpine Flea and Bed Bug Insecticide With IGR Works

PT Alpine Flea and Bed Bug Insecticide with IGR contains dinotefuran, a neonicotinoid that disrupts the fleas' central nervous system. This powerful ingredient paralyzes the fleas, which results in their deaths. Dinotefuran provides active control for up to a month and targets young and adult fleas in homes and commercial structures. Though the added insect growth regulator continues to work on the eggs for up to seven months, you should apply Alpine after 14 days if new fleas have emerged.

Where to Use PT Alpine Flea and Bed Bug Insecticide with IGR

Alpine flea and bed bug insecticide is intended for indoor-use only. Use it to treat upholstered furniture, carpets, rugs and concrete. Do not apply Alpine to sealed or stained surfaces unless you have tested a small area and checked for discoloration. Some other target areas for use include:

  • Apartments
  • Commercial buildings
  • Homes
  • Hotels
  • Motels
  • Pet kennels
  • Veterinary clinics

When treating fleas in your home, vacuum the area before applying Alpine flea insecticide. You should also treat any areas where pets sleep and either wash or throw out their bedding. For extreme flea infestations, you may need to apply four or more treatments for maximum results.
